George entered the financial services industry in 1982 and, motivated by a desire to offer financial advisors an ethical resource for income protection strategies and solutions, founded Secura Consultants in 1995. The firm is now recognized as a national leader in the industry.
Mary Catherine Davidson
Commissions & Contracting Manager
Mary Catherine assists financial advisors in obtaining carrier appointments and contracts. She helps them understand the process and guides them to complete the necessary documents in a timely manner. She also assists advisors with commission inquiries and understanding carrier compensation.
Katiya Xiong, DIA
Vice President of Operations & Technology
Kat serves as the CEO’s right hand person and works to align all aspects of information technology to meet Secura Consultants’ business strategies. This includes designing and customizing technological systems and platforms to improve both the team and advisor experience.
Matthew Riordan, DIA, LTCP
Matt works with financial advisors to design and implement high value income and asset protection strategies using a variety of insurance products. He oversees the Consulting Team and builds and deepens relationships with new and existing advisors. Matt also assist with the management of the day-to-day operations.
Mitchell Nelson, DIA, CLTC
Mitch is responsible for providing fee-only and fee-based financial advisors with guided consultation utilizing MDP Consultants (a subsidiary of Secura Consultants) proprietary process and work products. This high level of engagement involves in-depth policy analysis, strategic policy design, active policy placement and on-going policy management with split revenue arrangements for each advisor.
Ryan Blake, DIA, MBA
Client Experience Manager
Ryan is responsible for managing the strategic partner relationships for the firm, in conjunction with the leadership and consulting teams. He also assists with refining operations and technology internal processes.
Chelsea Mucha, DIA
Chelsea’s primary role is to work on individual disability and multi-life cases for the Consulting Team. This translates to her second role with the New Business Team to service the organization’s inforce block of business and implement sold multi-life cases.
Derek Zabel, DIA
Derek assists financial advisors in identifying the best income protection opportunities and solutions for the advisor’s clients. He also helps with putting together presentations and marketing materials to make the lives of the financial advisor easier which leads to a more successful sales outcome.
Sarah Craig, DIA
Sarah assists financial advisors in identifying the best income protection opportunities and solutions for the advisors and their clients. She also helps with putting together presentations and marketing material deliverables for internal and external use.
Carter Kowalski, DIA
Carter works closely with our consultants to assist financial advisors with their income protection goals. He also helps with marketing efforts and maintenance data integrity for accuracy and robustness.
Administrative Marketing Coordinator
Madison is responsible for working directly with our Consulting Team. This position entails analysis and reporting, with a good deal of marketing content development, event planning, and project management.
April Hanson, DIA
Senior Case Manager
April provides support and insight for the New Business team. She manages Individual Disability and Guaranteed Standard Issue cases with carriers during the underwriting process while providing status updates of the cases to advisors. She also handles implementation of policies by prepping for delivery and processing the completed delivery requirements for the final stages of placing coverage inforce.
New Business Consultant
Pang is your source for accessing and administering all inforce policy information and new business applications. This service includes: policy summaries, premium changes, client data changes, broker changes, cancellation requests and various policy service requests.
Jose Bowen, DIA, DIF
New Business Consultant
Jose’s primary role is to support the New Business team with application processing and case management. This translates to his second role which is to provide marketing support through the MDP Consultants service model for fee-only and fee-based advisors.
